PHNOM PENH, 25 OCTOBER 2018 ― Pontian Wanton Noodles, which has recently celebrated 60 years of history in the region, has finally announced its launch in Cambodia today at the Opening Ceremony of its flagship restaurant located near Central Market on Street 67. Having established a presence with over 75 outlets in Singapore, Malaysia and Kuala Lumpur, Pontian is known for its high-quality chewy noodles, juicy dumplings, aromatic coffee, crispy toast breakfasts and mouth-watering desserts, and now it is bringing the same delightful experiences to the Cambodian market.
Founded in Johor, Malaysia, Pontian is now present in over 50 locations in Singapore, 20 locations in Kuala Lumpur and Johor, and 4 in Ho Chi Minh City, in addition to its new store in Phnom Penh. Each Pontian store is identifiable through its distinct trademark in the form of a black, yellow and red colour logo. Noodles and dumplings skins are manufactured in Malaysia at a factory owned by Pontian, which helps ensure maintenance of high quality of food products.
“Pontian Wanton Noodles has come a long way from opening up in a hawker center, to having many of its own stores in Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, and now Cambodia.
Each store has a distinct Pontian concept applying to it, such as its black, yellow and red colour logo,” said Mr Damian Lim, Operations Manager at Pontian Wanton Noodles.
“This launch is solely to celebrate the brand opening in a new country.”
As a part of the launch, Pontian Wanton Noodles is now offering its customers a 50% discount on all the noodle and juice sets at the store from 25th – 31st October, 2018.
