From 1-3 November 2018, Phnom Penh is set to play host to Cambodia’s biggest gathering of the feed, livestock and agriculture industry, AGRILIVESTOCK CAMBODIA 2018 at the Diamond Island Exhibition & Convention Centre (DIECC).
Co-located with AGRIFOOD 2018 – Cambodia’s International Food & Agriculture Production Show, over 6,000 visitors including farmers, millers, feed producers, veterinarians, processors, integrators and many more are expected to visit the three-day event where they will see the latest products, equipment and machinery from major international companies including Big Dutchman, C.P Cambodia,Buhler, Valli,Salmet, Agco, GSI, Atluntas, Nuricomm Asia, Agri Master, Makita…. Etc
Cambodia’s demand for meat has increased significantly, driven by improvement in household income. From 2016 to 2024, the Kingdom’s meat demand is projected to increase 14.6%, from about 280,000 metric tonnes to 328,085 metric tonnes a year, according to a report by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF).
“I encourage farmers, veterinarians, feed millers, meat processors and integrators to attend AGRILIVESTOCK CAMBODIA 2018, to get updated on the latest technology and supplies to improve production and introduce good bio security and food safety systems. In addition, visitors can attend the Cambodia Animal Health Seminar where important issues on disease management will be discussed,” said Mr. Richard Yew, the Regional Vice President of AMB Tarsus Events Group, the Expo’s organiser.
