Prime Minister Hun Sen will pay an official three-day visit to Turkey following the conclusion of the Asia-Europe Meeting in Brussels.
Mr Hun Sen yesterday on Facebook said he will visit Turkey from October 20 to 22 and will end his European tour with a visit to Switzerland.
“After ASEM, I will visit Turkey,” he said. “I will leave Turkey on October 22 to attend the World Investment Forum in Geneva.”
“One task which I cannot abandon is meeting with Cambodians who are living and studying overseas,” he added. “They are waiting for me over there.”
Prime Minister Hun Sen on Thursday will lead a delegation to Brussels to attend the 12th Asia-Europe Meeting summit, an Asian-European political dialogue forum.
Mr Hun Sen is slated to attend the summit on Thursday and Friday at the invitation of President of the European Council Donald Tusk and President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker, according to a Foreign Affairs Ministry statement issued on Sunday.
The Prime Minister is expected to depart from Switzerland next Wednesday and will arrive in Cambodia on Thursday.
