Prime Minister Hun Sen will pay an official visit to Nepal in the latter portion of 2018, and both countries will sign documents on bilateral cooperation.
In the meeting between Hun Sen and Nepalese Prime Minister Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli in New York on Friday, Sept. 28, the Kingdom’s premier announced his intent to travel Nepal and visit historic Buddhist sites.
Both premiers instructed their foreign ministries to work on organizing the visit, with a target date of late of November or early December 2018.
The respective ministries are instructed to gather documents and agreements for signing during the visit. Among the writs are exemption visa issuances for diplomatic and government passport holders; investment protection; political discourse between the ministries; and cooperation on economic, political and cultural levels.
