IG Tech and Malaysia’s Aetins have formed a joint venture that will help insurers adopt the latest technologies in the sector in order to improve business performance and efficiency.
The company, named IG Aetins Asia, will offer solutions implemented and supported by Cambodian technicians, according to Kim Puthkiry, chairman and president of IG International Group, which owns IG Tech.
He said the company has already established a ‘Centre of Excellence’ to serve clients across Asia-Pacific.
“The Center of Excellence will serve clients in any country where the IG Group has partners,” he said.
“While the Center of Excellence enhances and maintains Aetins’ current suite of solutions, it will also develop new ones, including some based on blockchain technology to provide digitised insurance solutions to meet the ever-changing market trend and needs,” said Mr Puthkiry.
Lim Chhaypor, business solutions director at IG International Group, said the joint venture will provide fast, reliable and time-saving solutions.
“Our products are developed by Aetins and powered by Oracle and Java technologies.
“Having expertise in these technologies, the centre will also install, implement and support Oracle and Java technologies,” Mr Chhaypor added.
