In a written statement on the International Day of Peace, September 21, the Prime Minister called attention to the value and importance of peace for all people.
He sees that the current global political situation is detrimental to peace, both world-wide and regional.
The PM called for the maintenance of peace and for cooperation with the government to avoid instable or chaotic conditions in the Kingdom, and sees the high voter turnout in July as a sign that the Cambodian people want peace.
He wants to see all Cambodians working with the government to maintain peace on a national and an international level, to boost unification, to carry on with the culture of dialogue, to respect the law, and to seek amicable solutions to outstanding issues.
The battle against “tricks” aimed at destabilizing and unsettling the country also require the help of the citizenship.
