PM to attend 15th China-ASEAN Expo

The Foreign Ministry has announced that Prime Minister Hun Sen will attend the 15th China-ASEAN Expo from September 10-12, 2018,  in Nanning City, Guangxi Province, People’s Republic of China.  A delegation of ministers and businessmen will accompany him.

The theme of the exposition is “Jointly Building the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road and the China-ASEAN Community of Innovation.”  It will showcase various products from ASEAN nations and China to promote cooperation of private sectors in business, trade, investment and tourism.

The Prime Minister will deliver his key remarks at the Expo’s opening ceremony expressing the desire to promote trade and investment between ASEAN members and China, and to attract potential Chinese investors and tourists to the ASEAN region.

He and China’s First Vice Premier of the State Council, Han Zheng, will preside over the inauguratory ribbon cutting ceremony at Cambodia’s national pavilion.  They will also visit Cambodia’s trade exhibition hall.

The Kingdom’s premier will meet with Chinese dignitaries.  Courtesy calls from leaders of Guangxi Province, Chinese business leaders and company CEOs are planned, as are interviews with the Chinese media.
