Apple partners with Seatel for nationwide iPhone Internet Programme

Khmer Times Share:
Apple’s partnership with Seatel is a bid to unlock the full potential of iPhone and Seatel’s 4G internet offering.

Seatel and Apple last week launched a nationwide iPhone internet plan offering 180 days of free internet usage for all new iPhone users in a bid to encourage locals to use the latest mobile high-tech gadgets available in the market.

“All the new and proud owners of iPhones can now enjoy free Internet for 180 days or 500MB for the first three days and thereafter 300MB/day packages for six months.

“Those who activate the best-selling ONE Plan, will also enjoy unlimited free/SMS plus unlimited chat and calls via WhatsApp through which they will be able to access 1.5 billion people worldwide,” Seatel said in a media release.

The promotion, which starts today (Monday), will be enjoyed by all new iPhone users who purchase the mobile phone via any of Seatel’s authorised resellers nationwide.

“Today is a major milestone for Seatel. We are proud for this recognition and of the appointment by Apple as one of their authorised reseller in Cambodia. It is a clear endorsement that Seatel can provide the best 4G internet experience and it is here to stay.

“Our interest is to encourage, empower and enrich our customers to use iPhone to its full potential. Seatel provides the same programme for everyone regardless of where they purchase the phones, directly from Seatel or from any Apple’s Authorised Reseller nationwide.

“However, at Seatel Shop, we will have a dedicated and free educative service to help the customers get the Best 4G Internet experience out of their iPhones,” Yap Kokleong, Seatel CEO said.

Orders can be made online or via any of the 27 Seatel Shop branches across the country.

“Customers can just walk in, call or place the order online and a brand new iPhone will be set up, ready to be picked up just within 48 hours. The iPhone internet programme is only available for newly bought iPhone units from authorised Apple resellers,” the company said.

The CEO said the Seatel Shops will serve as an all-in-one education center for all new iPhone users. All existing and new iPhone users, regardless of where the devices are purchased, are welcomed to visit Seatel for support.

“This partnership is awesome! We find many of the current iPhone users are just using iPhone for voice calls and SMS.

“To unlock the full potential of iPhone, we must encourage all the users to go online and enjoy millions of apps in App Store that can be download for free. With this programme, there is no reason why they should not get started,” Mr Kokleong said.
