PHNOM PENH, Nov. 2, (Khmer Times) – US army sergeant and bail absconder Michael Edward Harris, who is wanted in his country on charges of child sex offences, is currently being held in detention at Phnom Penh International Airport pending deportation to his home country.

It is understood US Marshalls will arrive in Cambodia on Tuesday and oversee his extradition to the US on Wednesday, when Harris will depart the Kingdom on a Korean Airlines flight for Seoul.

Following a two week manhunt across the Kingdom, Harris, who had been living and working in Sihanoukville under the pseudonym of Michael Dobbs, was apprehended last week in Kratie by provincial police.
