Singapore Ambassador Michael Tan congratulated all the members of the Singapore Club Cambodia for the succesful event. He also commended them for their first corporate social responsibility initiative. SCC is partnering with Credit MFI (sister company of Phillip Bank) in raising funds for the villagers in Stung Treng province who are affected by the floods. The ambassador is encouraging members of the SCC and Singapore community to donate generously. It was mentioned by Mr. Ong Teong Hoon, that for those suffering due to the floods, whatever dollar that is donated, Phillip Bank will also donate a dollar in a “dollar for dollar” campaign, which will be initiated by Credit MFI staff and Phillip Bank staff. “We can altogether pull our weight to try our best as a community to help out the flood victims in Kratie and Stung Treng” said Mr. Ong. Two donation boxes were prepared during the said event. There were also games and lucky draws that made the event more lively!
