Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR) Scholarship

Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR) is pleased to offer scholarships for domestic and international students. Scholarships are provided for those pursuing master’s degree programme at the University of Skövde in Sweden. The scholarships offer partial tuition waiver (50 percent of the total tuition) granted for one academic semester. It can be extended to a subsequent academic semester provided that the student’s study results are satisfactory.

The International Centre for Journalists (ICFJ) is accepting international applicants including those from Cambodia, to apply for the Covering Women, Children and Adolescents’ Health Programme 2018 conference. The event is intended to increase the knowledge and skills of young journalists on covering women and children’s health issues. The programme will select 25 to 30 young international journalists to take part in the 2018 Partners’ Forum in New Delhi.

Youth Resource Development Programme (YRDP) organisation is holding a training that focuses on extractive industry governance in Cambodia, which needs to be operated in a sustainable manner. Trainees will gain in-depth knowledge on the topic for a three-day training along with a four-day field trip to a mining site. A certificate of acknowledgment will be provided after completion.

All youth are invited to join a trip to Svey Rieng Province. Different social activities such as planting trees, cleaning the environment, donating stationary stuff to secondary school students, and visiting people in the community will be held. This event aims to encourage youth to join together to promote environmental preservation and to raise awareness of people’s livelihood in the community.
