The programme started in Cambodia in 1994 and aims to share Korea’s unique development experiences and knowledge with Cambodia and contribute to Cambodia’s long-term development needs.

To accomplish this mission, KOICA has been operating master’s degree programmes with leading 20 Korean universities in the fields of agriculture, rural development, education, government and technology, environment and energy. For this year, a total of 14 scholars passed master’s degree courses with leading 13 Korean universities.

During the event on Tuesday, KOICA Cambodia Office briefly introduced the master’s degree courses and gave the participants basic orientation on the important things in Korea, the information of the Cambodia-Korea Alumni Association (CAMKAA), and code of conduct of the training programme.

The selected scholars showed their gratitude and assure their support for KOICA and the Korean government, and committed to bring social and policy reforms in Cambodia after gaining experience and learning in Korea.
