PHNOM PENH, September 27, (Khmer Times) – Phnom Penh’s Designer Week literally stormed onto the runway at the Plantation last Thursday, spotlighting the latest fashions to hit Cambodia’s local scene.

Monsoon rain showered onto spectators and models wearing the latest creations from Jasmine and Uber, with the models strutting their stuff on the cat walk while holding black umbrellas.

The final show from Armanda awed the crowd as models clad in Elizabethan flair forsook their protection from the rain and carefully displayed their garb.

After the show, guests were stranded in the lobby due to flooding on the road. Instead of returning home many decided to go on Naga World’s complementary bus to the unofficial after-party at F Club.

Friday’s schedule of designers Kool As U, and A.N.D. – along with the local’s favorite by Don Protasio, went off a little better without the heavy downpour and the dangers of water touching electrical wires.

This Saturday will conclude Designer’s Week with the creative styles of  Waterlily, Hello Hello, Coco Wellington & Two Wonders, and Kims & Uno Sky at the Plantation starting at 6:30pm.
