Thailand to hold Asia music festival

BANGKOK (Xinhua) – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has said an Asia music festival will be held on August 18 to August 19 in southern Thai island of Koh Samui in a bid to attract more tourists. The non-ticketed music festival, coorganised by TAT, Singaporean company IMC Live Group and Koh Samui Municipality, will showcase music acts of different genres and tongues from all across Asia over the weekend.The event will also showcase Thailand’s flavourful music scene. Festival-goers will also be able to enjoy food and beverage options.
