PHNOM PENH, September 4, (Khmer Times) – The body of an unidentified man, presumably in his sixties, was found floating at the riverbank Thursday afternoon in Chey Chumneas commune, Daun Penh district.

At around 13:30 a boy, fishing at the Tole Sap riverbank near Ounalom Pagoda, spotted a body floating 10 meters away.

Local police said that an investigation will be carried out to determine the cause of death. The body had no scars or evident injuries. This could rule out murder or manslaughter (physical abuse resulting in death).

After a preliminary examination of the body, the police have transferred the body to the Russey Sanh pagoda.
