Zaman International School’s Primary and Secondary campuses were yesterday confirmed by the Phnom Penh Municipal Department of Education as being among the top educational institutions in the nation’s capital.
Yesterday morning representatives from Zaman International School’s (ZIS) Primary and Secondary campuses attended a ceremony at the Phnom Penh Municipal Department of Education where they were awarded certificates of appreciation for the schools’ high performance in management, administration, environment and learning and teaching techniques during the 2017-2018 academic year.
The awards were made by Department director Sinareth Hem and it was principal of the secondary school, Mr Ramazan Tomay, and vice-principal of the primary school, Ms Dara Van, who accepted the awards on behalf of all of their colleagues.
The Primary Campus took the accolade of the top private primary school out of the schools inspected.
A ZIS spokesperson said: “ZIS strives to be outstanding in all that it does and holds the cultural values and traditions of Cambodia in the highest regard.
“Therefore, to receive such praise from the Department of Education is something which will delight each member of the School’s teaching body and give a refreshed sense of confidence that the right approach is being taken on the School’s dynamic and inspiring campuses.”
