37,379 front liners, civilians and security forces inoculated against COVID-19 in Cambodia

Cambodia’s inoculation drive against COVID-19 is gaining momentum with 31,519 military and security officials being inoculated against COVID-19.

In addition, 5,860 civilians, including front liners, government officials and journalists have also been inoculated since 10 February 2021 until Monday, 22 February, 2021.

Among the civilians inoculated are 1,976 females, according to the Ministry of Health.

The Ministry of Interior is expected to start inoculating up to 200 people a day with inoculated to be carried out in the Interior Ministry itself.

Provincial front liners are also expected to be inoculated against the COVD-19 virus shortly as front line medical personnel have been trained for this and are now training others on how to administer the vaccine.

Cambodia received 600,000 out of a committed one million doses of SINOPHARM vaccines on 7 February 2021 and inoculation started in the capital on 10 February 2021.
