Cambodia and Australia discuss further human resource and environmental cooperation

Minister of Environment Say Sam Al and Australian Ambassador Pablo Kang discussed cooperation on human resource development and environmental management between the two countries.

During the meeting, Ambassador Kang praised the recent bilateral cooperation between Cambodia and Australia. He emphasised the strengthening and expansion of cooperation through further development.

Minister Sam Al requested that the Australian government increase cooperation in education, vocational training and the exchange of study visits and scholarships for Cambodian students to contribute to the Kingdom’s development.

He also requested that the Australian government consider providing technical assistance on environmental management, especially on the establishment of sustainable cities with environmental, waste and wastewater management plans.
