TEHRAN, (Xinhua) – Iran has warned the United States to stop “illegal actions” taken against its diplomats on U.S. soil, the spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Affairs Ministry Saeed Khatibzadeh declared on Saturday.
“Iran has officially warned the US that it will sue it before the International Court of Justice if it does not stop its illegal actions against Iranian diplomats in international organisations,” Khatibzadeh said, as quoted by news agency IRNA.
The spokesman noted an official warning has been delivered to US authorities through the Swiss embassy in Tehran.
