WB Finance Sponsors World Ranking Carom Billiard Player Sruong Pheavy


WB Finance, a family member of Woori Bank, has made sponsorship to Ms. Sruong Pheavy, the Cambodian-born world ranking billiard player, aiming to encourage women athlete, and support her dreams to become the world’s best player and the hopes that she can play for her country, Cambodia.


Ms. Pheavy said, “I am truly thankful to WB Finance for giving me this great opportunity and supporting my dream, in representing Cambodia, to become the best athlete in the world.”


Showing her utmost supports to Cambodia’s sport, Ms. Pheavy has joint as guest speaker in inauguration of the Snooker and Billiards Federation of Cambodia at the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC) in late 2018, giving the inspirations to the Cambodian athletes especially women to boost their confidence and develop their capacity to grow.

About Ms. Sruong Pheavy

Ms. Pheavy originated from Tboung Khmum Province, Cambodia, and is now based in South Korea known as “Cambodia’s Billiard Beauty”. In 2018, she ranked first in ZANCA Championship Asia 3 Cushion Open and ranked third in World Women 3 Cushion Tournament. In 2019, she ranked first in 2nd Asia Women’s 3 Cushion Championship and ranked third again in World Women 3 Cushion Tournament. So far, she owns at least 20 medals from Korea’s and international Billiard competitions.
