The Ministry of Education has set January 11 as a new date for the Grade 12 examinations after it was delayed due to the November 28 community incident.

In a statement, Education Minister Hang Chuon Naron said based on Prime Minister Hun Sen’s instruction, all institutions have to cooperate with local authorities and use the education staff of each institution as exam inspectors.

The Grade 12 exams were scheduled for Dec 21-22 but postponed due to the COVID-19 community outbreak.

Hong Panhavongvibol, Grade-12 student, said that he was aware of the new exam date.

“After the postponement, we know it will be held on January 11. I am ready for the exam,” he said.
