Index starts the week down as trading value remains low
The Cambodia Securities Exchange index fell 1.76 points (0.27 percent) yesterday to close at 645.97 points. Trading value was slightly up from Friday but still well below average at only 117 million riels with 29,115 shares exchanged.
The day was led by ACLEDA Bank (ABC) and Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone (PPSP), which both fell 40 and 10 riels a share respectively and recorded 51 million and 32 million riels in trading value.
Grand Twins International (GTI), Pestech Cambodia (PEPC) and Phnom Penh Water Supply Authority (PWSA) also all fell, recording 100, 60 and 20 riels a share drops respectively.
Sihanoukville Autonomous Port (PAS) recorded the day’s only gains, increasing 20 riels a share.
