He had arrived in Cambodia from Nepal via Doha, Qatar and then through Seoul, South Korea on November 11.
He has been admitted to the Khmer Soviet Friendship Hospital for treatment. Prior to him being tested positive, the Nepali, who works for an international organization has been under self-quarantine in a hotel in the capital.
With this latest case, the tally of 307 comprises 191 Cambodians, 45 French, 18 Chinese, 13 Malaysians, 9 Indonesians, 9 Americans, 6 British, 3 Vietnamese, 3 Canadians, 3 Indians, 2 Hungarians, 1 Belgian, 1 Kazakhstani, 1 Polish, 1 Nepali and 1 Pakistani.
It was also learned that the Ministry of Health is looking at strengthening quarantine measures even further since a small number of victims were being tested positive either during their quarantine or well after the 14 days’ mandatory quarantine period.
