Tim Ho Wan is a famous dim sum restaurant popular with the people of Hong Kong for its delicious food and cheap prices. Tim Ho Wan also received a star rating from the Michelin Guide, which rates restaurants and hotels around the world. In only a short time, this restaurant has opened stores in many cities in Asia and is continuing to expand in other countries. Tim Ho Wan was created by chef Mak Kwai Pui and chef Leung Fai Keung in 2009. The two opened their first restaurant, with only 20 seats, in the Mong Kok district of Hong Kong and after only one year they received a star from the Michelin Guide.
Seak Guech, the Director of Tim Ho Wan Cambodia Restaurant, said she brought Tim Ho Wan to Phnom Penh to introduce the Cambodian people to the most famous and delicious dishes from Hong Kong. She added that in the near future she will open more of these restaurants in the main areas of Phnom Penh so people can taste the famous dim sum from Hong Kong.
