The Ministry of Tourism has announced that Cambodia Angkor Air will resume regular flights from Tuesday, September 15.
The resumption of its operations currently is in line with the growing demand of domestic tourists facilitated by Cambodia being able to contain the spread of domestic COVID-19.
The Ministry of Tourism hopes that Cambodia Angkor Air will consider reopening flights between Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville at a time when road traffic is getting congested because of the increasing number of vehicles. This is also a request from domestic tourists, tour operators and as well as the investors.
Domestic flights will commence to Siem Reap – Phnom Penh/Phnom Penh – Sihanoukville on Wednesday and Fridays; while, the international flights will start with Phnom Penh – Ghanzhou on Thursdays.
