The Singapore Club Cambodia (SCC) on Friday hosted a networking event to connect Singporean business interests within the Kingdom.
The event was held on Friday at the Himawari Hotel in the capital under the theme ‘Shiok Night’, and was the first since the monthly event was suspended due to COVID-19 safety concerns earlier in the year.
The Himawari hotel welcomed 40 guests, who as well as networking could enjoy the microbrewery located inside the venue and live music by Southeast Asian fusion group ‘Boxchords’.
Speaking at the event, SCC president Albert Tan called for Singaporeans to pull together, particularly amid the pandemic.
He said that although SCC meet up events have begun to resume again, they will only be held without children present, as a precautionary measure.
Tan also updated fellow Singaporeans on flying regulations between Cambodia and Singapore, reminding them that Silk Air has now resumed flights to the capital.
