Celebrating 55 Years of Friendship

Singapore and Cambodia commemorate our 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations this year. Cambodia was one of the first countries to recognise Singapore’s independence in 1965.

We share longstanding ties, especially between our leaders. But few know that our bilateral ties began even before independence – when Singapore was a British colony in 1962! Take a walk down memory lane at some of the notable highlights between both countries!
