Cambodia’s imported COVID-19 positive cases increase by 26 to 197

Cambodia reported 26 more people tested positive for COVID-19. GDI

The Ministry of Health this morning reported that 26 more Cambodian people tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total number to 197.

In the statement, the ministry announced that 26 patients including five from Egypt, 20 from Russia and one from South Korea. They arrived at the Phnom Penh International Airport on July 19.

Some of them are receiving medical treatment at Chak Angre Krom Health Centre in the capital.

Cambodia has a total of 197 COVID-19 cases. Of them, 140 have recovered.

The statement said that four men, aged 26, 27, and 28 from Tboung Khmum province and a 25-year-old man from Preah Sihanouk province have recovered yesterday after testing negative for COVID-19 twice. The trio returned from Saudi Arabia via Malaysia flight and another returned from Indonesia.
