The Ministry of Health today reported one more case of COVID-19 on a 25-year-old Cambodian man, bringing the Kingdom’s total to 166.
It its statement, the ministry said that the patient arrived at the Phnom Penh International Airport on July 10 after travelling from Saudi Arabia via Malaysia.
His specimen was tested positive by the Pasteur Institute on July 15, it said. He has received medical treatment at Chak Angre Krom Health Centre in the capital.
The other 69 passengers on the same flight tested negative for the virus and they have been placed in a 14-day quarantine at Chumpuvoan quarantine centre in Phnom Penh, the statement said.
Twenty-five out of the 80 passengers who travelled from Saudi Arabia tested positive for the Coronavirus.
