RELATED NEWS – Cambodia COVID-19 Case Breakdown – 25/03/20 – 96 cases
The Health Ministry has recorded five new cases of COVID-19 in Phnom Penh and three other provinces, raising the Kingdom’s tally to 96.
The ministry issued a statement tonight saying five more people tested positive for the coronavirus.
It noted that two French nationals—a 64-year-old male and 60-year-old female tested positive. They are among a group of tourists in Preah Sihanouk province.
The statement said in Siem Reap province, a 37-year-old man, a bus driver for the French tourists tested positive for the virus.
In Phnom Penh, a 27-year-old man tested positive along with a 59- year-old man in Kandal province after coming in contact with a- 60 year-old man patient who had recently returned from a religious congregation in Malaysia, it said.
It noted that three infected men in Phnom Penh aged 71, 38 and 33 recovered.
It said a 52-year-old man in Tboung Khmum province also recovered today.
