Foreign Affairs Minister Prak Sokhonn is due to attend a two-day Asean Foreign Ministers’ retreat in Vietnam this week.
The AMM retreat will be held from Thursday to Friday in Nha Trang, a coastal city in southern Vietnam.
According to Foreign Affairs Ministry’s statement released today, Mr Sokhonn was invited by Vietnamese Foreign Affairs Minister Pham Binh Minh.
“Under the theme “Cohesive and Responsive”, the AMM retreat will be a platform for Asean Foreign Ministers to exchange their views and thoughts on ways and means to realise the Asean Community Vision 2025 and to further enhance Asean unity, integration and connectivity, common identity, engagement with the global community as well as institutional capacity,” the statement said.
