The Singapore (Cambodia) International Academy (SCIA) had successfully organised a free parenting seminar featuring highly experienced speakers at its One Park campus on Saturday.

The three-hour seminar was divided into two sessions featuring three seasoned speakers who spoke on three different topics:  SCIA Foundation Studies Centre Principal  Ng Bee Sun, School Counsellor Lucita B. Narag and Occupational Therapist Joahnne M. Bernadas.

Covering a variety of topics such as “the Internet of things and why it matters to you”, “the use of rewards and power assertive” and “developmental milestones for children”, the workshops aimed at providing parents with the right skill sets to optimise their children’s academic and social success.

With speakers sharing real-life case studies and giving out practical tips, the session proved to be informative and interactive. Parents who attended said they learned valuable lessons which they can immediately apply to their children.
