Bophana delivers certificate for young trained students

Bophana Center together with the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts celebrated a certificate’s presentation ceremony to young trained students who finished the project “Amplifying voice of indigenous Women and discriminated groups through innovative multimedia” last Friday at  Bophana Center.

The celebration was aimed to appreciate the achievements  and also to present  certificates to 12 students who are on full scholarship and are from Ratanakiri, Mondulkiri, and Banteay Meanchey provinces. They took  two years to  finish the project.

During the three hours  event, around 60 local and foreign participants included VIP guest also enjoyed the screening of  eight films  after listening attentively to speeches from the various  representatives. All attendees were also treated a wide spread of food, drinks and snacks at the tnd the end of the event.

The project was funded by Voice programme (through Oxfam Cambodia), the Australian Embassy in Cambodia and Heinrich Boll Stiftung Cambodia, in collaboration with the Sundance Institute and Cambodian Film commission.
