It has been an exciting year for Urban Hub (Cambodia) Co., Ltd and the developer is winding down the busy 2019 in style.

It won accolades, both at home and abroad, for developing luxurious and affordable condominiums with harmonious living conditions.

The developer bagged six awards this year for its outstanding Urban Village project that is located in Phnom Penh.

Urban Village won the “Best Condo Development” in Asia award at the 14th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards ceremony that was held in Bangkok on November 28.

“Actually, it is an endorsement for our company. We are the first ever Cambodian developer to have won this award. There were lot of contestants and many are giant developers.

“The award was audited by BDO, an international and famous auditor. It is a fair and recognisable platform. Definitely our customers will be more confident in our projects because of the international recognition,” said Urban Hub executive director Catherine Chan.

Earlier in May this year, Urban Village walked away with five different awards at the 4th Annual PropertyGuru Cambodia Property Awards – Best Condo Development (Cambodia), Best Condo Development (Phnom Penh), Best Condo Landscape Architectural Design, Best Condo Architectural Design and Best Condo Interior Design.

The company’s signature project, the 19-storey condominium with traditional Khmer aesthetics, beautiful landscaped gardens and with a wide range of amenities, continues to make waves in the industry.

Urban Village is located along the fast-developing Hun Sen Boulevard and only a short drive away from the thriving city life.

The developer has completed the Urban Loft, a two 20-storey tower and Urban Village Phase 1 is ready for handover in March next year.

So, what is the secret behind Urban Village’s success story?

Chan explains: “We value a lot in community building and we want our customers to have a good experience when living here. That is why our slogan is “Live, Work, Play” and that is why we spend a lot of time in design, architectural and layout of our project.

“Lot of hard work, It is also the charisma. The positive energy we bring to everybody and I think it is also our heart to help the country, the people and the end users as well.

“We focus on improving people’s lives and people’s living conditions, and not simply build condos,” added Chan.

Adjacent to the Urban Village is the Factory Phnom Penh, the largest international creative hub in Southeast Asia that houses shops, games, co-working space and surrounded with lush greenery and walk path for residents. Interestingly, one block in Phase 2 was sold in just over a month after its grand opening. Now a new Block G is open for sale.

“People have become very confident in our project, since we were recognised by the Asia Property Guru awards, the country award to the Asia award. And our buyers seen how we have built our community, and all the exciting events we have been doing and the developments on our side,” she added.

“We target the largest crowd in the market who wants to buy a condo, the young and the old. We offer 75 per cent loan up to 25 years.

‘We share the same dream’, says Udom
Cambodian footballer Prak Mony Udom has some sound tips for house buyers. Udom, who is currently the brand “ambassador” for Urban Village Hub (Cambodia) Co. Ltd., said the developer has taken the right direction in building modern housing in the Kingdom.

With rapid development across the country, there is a growing demand for quality housing in the cities, he said.

“Few years ago I didn’t see Cambodians can adapt to modern housing but in the last few years I have noticed that they are progressing and they need more such housing. People like to live in condos because it is located in the city and not far from their workplace.

“I am very convinced with Urban Village which is a great development project. With the right price, right location and with six awards, Urban Village can deliver a great quality product. I cannot find any reason why people would not buy it,” said Udom.
The developer is currently developing the Urban Village project, located along Hun Sen Boulevard, and its Phase 2 is expected to be completed by September 2022.

Describing Urban Village as “a very creative project”, Udom said the company deserves the awards that it won this year as it has proven its capabilities in constructing condominiums.

“I am very proud of Urban Village’s achievement. It [the recognition] is not just for the project but for our country too, it is the first ever Cambodian project to win this award.

“I know Urban Village is a company which has a dream and for me as a player, I also have a dream.
“So if we join together, we can achieve success and I am happy to be the brand ambassador for Urban Village,” he added.

Urban Village won the “Best Condo Development” in Asia award at the 14th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards ceremony that was held in Bangkok on November 28.

Urban Village is just not focusing on developing condominiums. It is also promoting healthy lifestyle through games such as football.

A friendly football match between Udom’s Cambodia league team PKR Svay Rieng FC and China Macau team MUST CPK, an A league team, will be held at the developer’s field from December 28 to 29.
