French Embassy holds networking cocktail ahead of regional forum

The French Embassy here opened its doors on Friday to welcome guests for a cocktail event, ahead of the second edition of the Women’s Forum in Singapore (WFS), to be held from September 18 to 20.

French Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Eva Nguyen Binh said WFS is a French private initiative which will give exposure and highlight the incredible qualities and potential of Cambodian women.

This year, Cambodia is sending yet another big group of delegates to Singapore, consisting of renowned professionals from various industries such as education, hospitality and agro-industry. It will be headed by Mrs Nguyen Binh herself.

It will also be joined by Secretaries of State from various Ministries including the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Environment.

At the event, guests had the chance to exchange thoughts in a relaxed atmosphere, accompanied by incredible live music by Ms. Miwako Fujiwara on piano and Ms. Jennifer Bird on flute.

Some of the dignitaries present included Minister of Women’s Affairs, H.E. Ing Kanthaphavy and Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia H.E. Tina Redshaw.
