Singapore Club Cambodia (SCC) had once again organised a special dinner in conjunction with the Mid-Autumn Festival at Himawari Hotel Apartments on Thursday. The festival, celebrated on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month, is considered one of the largest celebrations in China and other Asian countries, including Cambodia and Singapore. Aside from feasting on numerous Singaporean delights such as satay (meat skewers), asam laksa (rice noodle soup) and rojak (fruit salad), guests were also entertained with performances by students of Singapore Cambodia International Academy (SCIA) and dance group called Sexy Mover. Guests of honour included SCC president Mr Albert Tan, Himawari Hotel Apartments Director Mr Andrew Tay and Second Secretary (Political) Embassy of the Republic of Singapore in Phnom Penh Mr. Timothy Fang.
