INK Festival thrills audience

Ink Festival hosted by Mith Samlanh (Friends-International organization) last Saturday of Khmer traditional permanent and henna arts. KT/Srey Kumneth

The INK Festival event, featuring body art, inluding tatoos was held at the Future Factory last Saturday. Coordinated by Mith Samlanh (Friends-International Organization), the event say booths which catered to people who loved body art through tattoos on their hands and body.

It featured seven tattoo artists who specialised in ink flash tattoos, henna tattoo (drawing on the hands), beauty station, kids playground, and curated pop up stalls.

Both traditional Khmer permanent tattoo and Henna (foreigners) artists saw many being attracted, inluding foreigners. A portion of the profits generated was contributed to Mith Samlanh.

As the first of its kind in​Phnom Penh, the event​attracted both local and​foreigners as well the young.​Hundreds of visitors were​treated to sumptuous food,​live entertainment and​​ performances.
