Long Lavy’s second exhibition at House of Scott

Local artist Mr. Long Lavy opened his solo exhibition last Thursday at the House of Scott here, in collaboration with Siem Reap-based Open Studio Cambodia. The exhibition, which features intricate watercolour works, drew the attention of many local and foreign art enthusiasts. Mr. Lavy’s art pieces are unique as they provide insights into his own past including his time as a professional Khmer kickboxer and a tuk-tuk driver. He began studying watercolor in his teens and gradually honed his skills to create idyllic countryside landscapes and depict chaotic city spaces.Mr Lavy originally hails from Pursat province but spent most of his childhood in Kandal province. This is his second solo exhibition.
