On August 7, 2019, ABA Bank and Manulife Cambodia successfully launched the Mobile Premium Payment partnership that allows Manulife customers to pay their life insurance premium through ABA Mobile app free of charge.

With ABA Mobile, customers can now repay their life insurance premium in just a few clicks, from anywhere and at any time. The process is simple as follows:

1. Launch ABA Mobile and click Payments.
2. Go to Insurance section and click Manulife Cambodia.
3. Select ABA account from which you wish to pay the premium and enter your proposal or policy number.
4. Click Transfer and confirm the payment with your ABA Mobile PIN.

The collaboration between the two leading financial institutions builds up on the existing Bancassurance partnership signed in 2016.

“Manulife Cambodia is the strategic partner of ABA. Since the beginning of our cooperation, we have managed to bring high-quality life insurance solutions to many of our valued clients. The launch of the premium payment in ABA Mobile app will now help them to settle insurance payments from the comfort of their home or office. We believe it will bring additional convenience to ABA and Manulife customers and will accelerate the country’s transition to a cashless society,” said Askhat Azhikhanov, CEO of ABA Bank.

ABA and Manulife have paid great attention to the introduction of modern solutions to their operations since the very beginning. Now, the launch of the premium payment in ABA Mobile brings a faster, safer and more convenient payment method to more than 410,000 ABA Mobile app users.

“At Manulife, we have a clear mission to help our customers make their decisions easier and their lives better. Becoming a digital market leader is a key strategy for us to achieve that. I’m very proud of the digital transformation that we are announcing with ABA which will provide cashless payment experience to all our customers nationwide who want to pay for or renew their life insurance policies,” said Robert Elliott, CEO and General Manager of Manulife Cambodia.

The Manulife mobile premium payment becomes a valuable addition to the list of services already available to customers in ABA Mobile. Using the app, ABA customers can transfer funds to anyone, pay all their bills, use it as a wallet to pay at favorite shops or even online, create deposit accounts, issue virtual cards, manage accounts, and much more. All these services are provided for free, giving ABA customers the opportunity to do banking when and where it is convenient for them.

The number of features in ABA Mobile app is constantly growing, so it becomes the onestop solution for customers’ everyday financial needs.
