The Chinese People’s Liberation Army celebrated its 92nd anniversary in a grand ceremony at the Great Duke Hotel in Phnom Penh on Tuesday night. The evening, which also commemorated the 70th anniversary of the Communist Party of China, began with an opening address by the military attaché of the Chinese Embassy to Cambodia Colonel Li Ningya. He applauded the good bilateral ties between China and Cambodia and wished for the relationship to continue to propel. The event saw the attendance of various dignitaries in the likes of he guest of honour, Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Defence Samdach Pichey Sena Tea Banh, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Cambodia H. E. Wang Wentian and the Commander in- chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Force, H.E General Vong Piseth.
