Singaporean expert holds panel on gut health at SGMC

An educational talk and panel discussion on the subject of gut health and the importance of colonoscopy was held at the Singapore Medical Centre (SGMC), Phnom Penh last Friday. The talk, entitled “Know Your Health,” was presented by the guest of honour Dr. Jonathan Foo, General and Colorectal Surgeon from Singapore who delved deeper into why gut health is becoming increasingly popular. He emphasised that a healthy body is reliant on a healthy gut. The event was joined by more than 40 local and foreign participants, some of whom were Khmer medical professionals and members of the youth. They managed to learn more about gut-related problems, especially its treatment and prevention methods.
