Visakha FC claimed a 3-2 win away at Soltilo Angkor in yesterday’s Metfone C-League action, while Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng continued their dominance with a 2-0 win over National Police Commissary.
Playing in their first competitive fixture without coach Hok Sochivorn, Visakha struck early on as former Naga-forward Sary Matnorotin gave the visitors the lead just two minutes into the game.
Soltilo soon struck back to equalise through Japan’s Fumiya Kogure but Keo Sokpheng was on hand to edge the visitors ahead once more in the 30th minute.
In the second period, Yuta Kikuchi levelled the game for the hosts in the games 52nd but Brazilian forward Eliel da Cruz Guardiano struck a fine match winner in the 77th minute to send Visakha home with all three points.
