1. Play board games
Did you know that playing board games can reduce the risk of dementia and Alzheimer’s? Stimulate those neurons by playing a round of board games with your friends and family. Not only do you get to spend quality time with a group of your favourite people, you get to also foster closer bonds with them while tackling the game together. 2. Watch a movie (or two)

Some establishments, like The Flicks, not only offer a casual and comfortable seating area but also have a specially-curated film selections. If you want maximum comfort, you can also head over to another cinema called The Popcorn, where you can rent a private room and watch any movie that you want.
3. Check out art exhibitions
With the thriving arts scene in the Kingdom, there are so many exhibitions taking place in almost every corner of the city. Every exhibition tells a different story – regardless of the medium. All you have to do is scour Facebook, take your pick and use the opportunity to learn more about arts. Not only you get to socially engage with familiar faces, but arts events are always a good opportunity to meet like-minded creative people. Who knows, it might even get your creative juices flowing and inspire you to create your own arts.
4. Play arcade games
Have you seen those romantic movies where the couple would go on a date at the arcade and they would have so much fun? It is because arcade games are indeed that much fun! You get to unleash your competitive side in a controlled environment and the bonus for beating your friend at a game is you get bragging rights. It’s not all fun and games, though. A slew of studies revealed that fast-paced, action-packed games can boost visual acuity and improve other cognitive skills, including working memory and reasoning. So the next time you go to the mall, skip the window-shopping and drag your friends straight to the arcade.
5. Sing your heart out
Originated from Japan, karaoke has come a long way to becoming a really popular activity among singing enthusiasts worldwide. Why? Partially because it is so much fun. If you ever have doubts about your singing ability, quash them and put those hesitations aside because it does not mean you have to sound like Adele or Nat King Cole to have fun at karaoke. One of the perks of singing include having better breathing. This is because singing expands the muscles from your diaphragm and lungs, resulting in a more relaxed abdominal muscles.
