Himawari Hotel Apartments hosted a grand Guest Appreciation Event at its Sunflower Ballroom to commemorate its 18th anniversary on Friday. With Singapore as the theme, guests were treated to a scrumptious feast of local delights such as chicken rice, curry laksa, bak kut teh soup and cendol.

A special cocktail dubbed Singapore Sling was also served. As a part of its corporate social responsibility efforts, Himawari also donated all profits from the sale of paintings by Singaporean artist Foo Kwee Horng to St. John Phnom Penh on the night. The event was capped with a lucky draw session which saw guests walking home with a variety of goodies including vouchers for Himawari Microbrewery craft beers.

Director Mr Andrew Tay said the theme was specifically chosen to cherish the good ties between Singapore and Cambodia

The fusion dance performance adds to the merriment of the night.

Guests were treated to a fashion show featuring a modern take on the traditional Cambodian costumes.
