After her astounding victory in last week’s national KBF Super Cup 3-cushion tournament, Cambodian women’s winner Srong Pheavy is ready to go again.

Beginning yesterday and concluding on the Sunday, around 850 athletes will participate in the Muan County National Billiards competition in South Korea and Pheavy will be eager to continue her ascent to the top of the women’s game in South Korea.

Having moved to South Korea in 2010 to be with her Korean husband, the ‘Billiards Beauty’ as she has been dubbed by local media outlets, has thrilled fans.

Pheavy, who lives in Cheongju with her partner, took up the sport a little over six years ago. She has amassed at least 20 titles to her credit.

Her success on the Carom Billiards table has seen her garner sponsorship by Phnom Penh Commercial Bank in Cambodia and Korean billiards custom cue brand Billking Korea.
