Smartphone giant OPPO launched its Reno series in Cambodia at an event held at Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra and attended by the Minister of Information. The new series includes OPPO Reno, already available in the country, and Reno 10x Zoom, which can be pre-ordered and will hit the shelves soon. Reno 10X Zoom will hit the shelves on 15 June at $899 while OPPO Reno is priced 529$. Both models pack cutting-edge technology and exceptional photography capabilities into a unique design, OPPO representatives said.
The launch was attended by Information Minister Khieu Kanharith who praised OPPO for bringing revolutionary technology into the local market. The minister said he expected the new phones to perform well in the local market as Cambodians are well acquainted with the brand. Lao Kheng Bung, OPPO Cambodia trade marketing manager, said, “With its attractive design and superb features, the OPPO Reno series is expected to captivate customers’ attention and to be a hit in the country.” He noted that OPPO has about 250 million users worldwide and that this year the company is diversifying its portfolio with, among other products, smart watches.
