The head of the National Police on Monday ordered officers stationed along the border to strengthen border security by continuing to prevent crimes.
According to a National Police report published last year, there were issues such as airspace violations, land clearance, installation of electrical polls on Cambodian soil, and the deportation of migrant workers.
General Neth Savoeun made the order during a meeting on border issues at the National Police Headquarters in Phnom Penh.
“Police officers stationed along the border must report all border issues to their superiors so that those issues can be monitored,” Gen Savoeun said.
