Google just surprised us all with a May release of its Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL cellphones at I/O 2019 – its annual deve-lopers’ conference.
The Pixel 3a and 3a XL are equipped with a 5.6-inch and 6-inch OLED displays, respectively, and are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 with 4GB of RAM.
Storage options max out at 128GB storage. Google also remembered to include an increasingly rare headphone jack into both the Pixel 3a and 3a XL.
The cameras both feature an 8-megapixel front lens and a 12.2 lens on the rear and feature Night Sight for taking photos in the dark.
To keep prices low, Google cut features like the ability to charge wirelessly and crafted the phones out of plastic rather than metal or glass.
It comes in three colours—Just Black, Clearly White, Purple-ish—and two sizes, with prices starting at $399 for the 5.6-inch display and $479 for the 6-inch model.
