About 30 Chinese nationals were arrested on Tuesday on connection with running VoIP scams in Sen Sok district’s Khmuonh commune.
Lieutenant General Y Sok Khy, director of Anti-Terrorism and Transnational Crime Department, said that police raided a villa in Khmuonh commune and arrested 28 Chinese nationals, including 5 women over their involvement with VoIP scams.
“We arrested 28 Chinese nationals, including 5 women at around 3:30 pm on Tuesday in Sen Sok district as they ran VoIP scams,” Lt Gen Sok Khy said.
“Now they are being questioned at my department. We will send them to the court soon when we finish questioning them,” he said.
