The current Metfone C-League champions face the leagues most decorated team this weekend as NagaWorld welcome Phnom Penh Crown in a must-watch grudge match between two of Cambodia’s best supported club sides.

NagaWorld, who currently sit second in the standings, last turned out for their AFC Cup group match earlier in the week where they were handed a 5-1 defeat to visiting Vietnamese club Hanoi FC.

Crown meanwhile, registered a first win of the season in their last match, a 1-0 win over Asia Europe United coming courtesy of Brazilian Paulo Victor’s second half effort. After a frustrating start to their season, Crown currently sit on ninth in the league table.

The clubs will meet on Sunday at Old Stadium for what is sure to be an electric matchup between bitter rivals.

Also on Sunday, top-of-the-table Preah Khan Reach Svay Reang attempt to maintain their perfect start to the season as they play host to visiting Angkor Tiger. In Sunday’s other games, Bati Academy U18’s will face the might of Boeung Ket Angkor, while Asia Europe United face Electricite du Cambodge for their afternoon clash.

In tomorrow’s action, Visakha seek a return to form against Kampong Cham. Visakha lost out in their away clash to Angkor Tiger last weekend and will be eager to avoid starting a slump against the league newcomers.

Also tomorrow, the still winless Soltilo Angkor attempt to score a first victory of the season as they play host to Mintry of National Defense. The Army side suffered their first defeat of the season last weekend – a 2-0 reverse to Boeung Ket.
